now perk your interest. Details are not given as the schedule continues to be developed.
All are being designed as either in/out, loop, or shuttle hikes. Here's a few to consider:
Appalachian Trail
Straight Branch US 58 to Damascus, VA
- Hike past cascading stream to see new ATC Visitors Center
Carvers Gap to Round Bald (1.5mi) or Grassy Ridge (5.4mi)
- Very popular hike across balds with outstanding views
Dennis Cove returning by Coon Den Falls
- Loop hike ascends A.T. to return by ribbon waterfall
Hughes Gap to Little Rock Knob
- Hike thru hardwood forest for views into North Carolina
Laurel Falls in Pond Mountain Wilderness
- Hikes from either Hampton or Dennis Cove for waterfall
Sams Gap to Big Bald
- Ascend 5,516' summit for view of Mt. Mitchell and Smokies
Tanyard Gap to Hot Springs
- Lovers Leap Rock views of French Broad River and town
Scenic Destinations
Cloudland Trail to Roan High Bluff
- Red spruce forest to 6,200' platform. Shelter visit option
Rocky Fork State Park - Whitehouse Cliffs
- Steep staircase up to overlook into park and wilderness
Pinnacle Mountain Firetower
- View of mountain ranges from rebuilt observation platform
The Channels Natural Area Preserve via Brumley Mtn Trail
- Labyrinth of sandstone cervices on top of mountain

Jacob's Nature Park (Kid Friendly)
- Wildflower hike through wetlands and native tree arboretum
Sill Branch Falls
- Short (2mi RT) hike in US Forest to 60’ tall waterfall
Buffalo Mountain: Salamanders (Kid Friendly)
- Eastern TN is salamander hotspot! Search Catbird Creek
